Salinity UK are, in cooperation with Balfour Beatty, Schmidt and Findley Irvine, conducting a pre-wet trial in Essex County. The trial is part of Essex County Councils comparison between the performance of dry salt, pre-wetted salt and treated salt. The trial started in November and is expected to last until the first week of April. In spite of the warm winter, initial indications are positive when it comes to the pre-wetted salt.
